Greetings Reinventor,

Today’s ezine we shall discuss
The Right Advice To Seek When Reinventing Yourself
When you’re reinventing yourself, it’s important to have a success team in your life.
Now, I’m not necessarily talking about have a pit crew like at a Nascar race, but surround yourself with enough people who believein what you want to do.
It’s tough enough starting a new career or lifeby yourself, but you need
the “right” support. Where do you get that? Well, from yourimmediate friends and
family that have yourbest interests at heart and have accomplished some major things in their own life.
I’m also not saying you shouldn’t surround yourselfwith people who agree with everything
you want to do. You don’t need “yes, people” in your life. These folks, with all their good intentions, should only give you an honest assessment of what you’re trying to accomplish.
If you have poor eye sight and major health problems and you announce, “I want to be a helicopter pilot in the Peace Corp, and these supportive folks say, “You go, girl!” Well, you get the picture. Don’t kid yourself.
Also look at the “source” of who is giving you this advice. If they’re going to give you feedback on aparticular subject, make sure these folks(s) haveaccomplished of worthiness on that particular subject.
I have a friend who is wealthy and financially well off. He is my dearest friend, but he should NOT be giving me stock tips.
You see, he earned his money the old fashioned way… not by hard work, being a good businessman, or with uncanny investing. No, his mother died andleft him two million dollars. He’s a trust fund babyand is basically semi retired… with LOTS OF TIME on his hands to give “advice.”
He’s a very funny fellow who loves to give you his two cents whether you want it or not. His favorite mantra is, “This is what you should do…”
In reality, if he lost the money tomorrow, he’d be back working at a clothing store
(which is the only real job he’s ever had) and telling a customer,“That’s a perfect
color for you…. I’ll see ifI have it in a 44 extra long in the back. Wait here!”
Get people to help you on your path to reinventionwho have “been there… and done that!” You don’t need “Monday Morning Quarterbacks” telling you what “youshould do.”
If they haven’t done it themselves or have a good track themselves, then take what they say with a grain of salt, or any other cliché you can think of.
Always go with your gut… always!
Next issue I’ll discuss “mastermind groups” and why you should
get into one. Continued success with your reinvention,
Peter “The Humorator” Fogel

Peter has done it again...
Seeking advice from the 'RIGHT' people is very important.
If you have a toothache, I am sure you will approach a dentist for help and not a *BOXER*.
Do that and perhaps he will boxed your teeth out?
Surrounding yourself with the right people is as important. The 'mastermind group', concept taken from 'Think and Grow Rich'is very applicable in many areas from business to family.
A Mastermind group is not a social club where you surround yourself with people who agree with you on everything.
"You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with" - Jim Rohn.
How true! Most people just let themselves fall into 'bad' company. They mixed with negative people and wonder why their lives are not going anywhere...
The big key here is to be aware of the effects your peers can have on you. And this is why Mastermind groups are such a powerful leverage!
You don't leave mixing with the RIGHT people to chance! You go all out to craft who you want to be with!
Peter has done an excellent explanation of the differences between networking and mastermind groups in DAY 6 of his ecourse! For those of you who are still leaving success to chance, perhaps you would like to grab his ecourse!
